- We are family -partial English subtitles
A good movie in the end but the first half drags because it has no
songs. Ok to borrow it from Hollywood's 'step mom'- apparently they
paid the copyright, but if it is not spiced up with songs and dances
then it doesnt work.
Redeems itself in the second half with the 'Jailhouse rock '
dance . However what is the point of spending millions on the movie if - Re: Machete looks like more liberal propaganda from Hollyweird Probably those new Texas history books.

Maybe you should go see it anyway. With the upcoming race war, if
you've been seen standing in line to see Machete, that might turn out
to be something in your favor. - Re: "Machete" = "On Deadly Ground?"

Outside of the movies, I think the archetypal hitman of the
late 20th century was a member of one ethnic group in
the former Yugoslavia, exercising all the sniper's traditional
skills, killing members of another ethnic group. This was

Too bad. MACHETE's 8.1 from 2500 IMDb users was close to talking me
into a ticket. Now I may be stuck with DVDs for a while, since

Cool. Liked this one enough to watch it twice (cinema matinee,
Redbox) but wondered if it had performed well enough for a sequel.

The liberal speechifying was the one good thing about Machete.
Jessica Alba shouting, "we didn't cross the border! The border
crossed us!" to the army of illegals, that was good. It's not often a
movie has the guts to stake out a political position and stick to it
so you have to admire it on that level. - Re: "Devil" = PG-13 = Last nail, MNS?
You'd think since modern Satanism, thanks to Anton Lavey and his
Satanic Bible, is nothing but warmed over/plagiarised Ayn Rand that
Fox News would welcome the Satanic Death Cult next door as brothers in
arms. I mean, would any self-respecting devil worshipper support
climate change initiatives or welfare or a public option? - Re: "The American": least realistic hitman yet?
It was "Branded To Kill" Seijun Suzuki and starring Joe Shishido. Took
me a while to wrack my brain. Good flick.

- Re: Machete looks like more liberal propaganda from Hollyweird Are that the history book reccomended by Fox News?
- Re: "The American": least realistic hitman yet?
No, it's an oblique (to avoid spoilers) reference to some of THE
AMERICAN's plot-appendages. - Re: Machete looks like more liberal propaganda from Hollyweird
Aztlan is as real as there was Superman, Batman, X-Man,
Spiderman....
